Linda Harris Chaney

Linda Harris Chaney, 75, passed away from a long battle with lung cancer on June 29, 2024. She was born on December 7, 1948 in Laurens, South Carolina to James and Margaret Harris.

Linda was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was an avid Clemson Football fan and gardener. In the fall you would find her cheering on the Tigers, and in the spring tending to her plants and flowers. 

Linda is survived by two daughters, Michele Chaney (Robert Stephens) of Greenville, SC, and Cristie Chaney Caldwell (Rick) of Aiken, SC. She is survived by four grandchildren, Sean Chaney, Alexis Mattison, Ansley Caldwell, and Ellie Caldwell, and one great granddaughter. Linda is predeceased by her former husband, Claude Jefferson Chaney.

The family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate Linda's life.
