Libardo Tabares, born on February 19, 1965, age 58, of Simpsonville, SC, passed away on February 28, 2023. He was the son of Horacio and Bertha Tabares. And brother to Orlando, Eduardo, Dagoberto, Claudia Tabares and Martha Suttles. Predeceased by brother Carlos E Tabares. Survived by his beloved pets Ben and Sheba. Always willing to help anyone in need. A great friend, great brother and even greater uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
Libardo was self-employed. He worked in Construction and was a member of the Carpenters Union. An avid New England Patriots fan. He was always proud of his years wrestling for CF High School. He also attended CCRI and graduated from New England Tech.
Libardo, Uncle Lee, Lee, or whatever you affectionately called him! He had the Heart of a Lion! That was blended with that Colombian, Rhode Island, South Carolina accent. He would take his shirt off for anyone in need, and would also have a beer with anyone willing to celebrate. He taught all he encountered how to be a little bit more kind that day. He would show he loved you, not by his rough, gruff, but smile hidden underneath demeanor. He would go and find the absolutely perfect thing to give you; whether that be his time, talent, or treasure. He gave the best of what he had. That is how you know he loved you.
