Leonard Oliver Tucker

Leonard Oliver Tucker, 77, of Greer, passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2019.
Leonard was a roofer by trade, working for Greer Roofing for over thirty years, until he retired in 2005. Leonard was married to Pat for 54 loving years, raising children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren together. He was always happiest when spending time with his wife and family.
Leonard was born in Greenville, SC on May 15, 1942 and was the son of the late,
Leonard Leroy Tucker and Margaret Etrulia Tucker. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Grace Tucker; his siblings, Medford ‘Puddin’ Tucker, William Tucker, Becky Blackwell, and Donnie Tucker; his sons, Leonard “Peanut” Tucker (married to Shirley Anne Tucker) and Westley Joseph Tucker (married to Kirsten Nicholl Tucker); grandchildren, Melissa Rittlinger (married to Jake Rittlinger), James Parker, Douglas Blake Tucker (married to Krysten “Missy” Tucker), Devin Brooke Crow (married to Sidney Blake Crow), Kaleb David Hood, Dylan Joseph Tucker, Mackenzie Grace Tucker, and Makayla Lynn Tucker and great-grandchildren Graham Rittlinger, Gabriel Blake Tucker, Malachi Blake Tucker, Isaiah Blake Tucker, Anna Faye Crow, Irish Rittlinger and soon-to-come Sidney Blake Crow Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy ‘Dot’ Suttles, Agnes ‘Ag’ Millwood, Joyce Blackwell, and Geraldine Forrester.
A family memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019.
The family would like to thank all of Leonard's relatives and friends for their prayers, visits, calls and all other expressions of love. Leonard was a great man and he touched many lives, especially those lucky enough to call him ‘Papa’. There is no doubt his memory will live on forever in our hearts. "
