Leo John Piorkowski

Leo John Piorkowski, age 59, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina after a short illness.

Born in Stamford, Connecticut on October 26th, 1955, Leo was the son of the late Leo Joseph and Genevieve Piorkowski.

Leo is survived by his wife Sophie; children Steven, Tricia, and Kara, of Southbury, Connecticut.

He will be remembered as an extraordinarily devoted loving husband, a person who enjoyed the outdoors, and, loved to travel.

Leo was always so kind to others, friendly and helpful to everyone. He will truly be missed.

Leo leaves behind his brothers - Walter (Judy) Piorkowski of Greenwich, Connecticut; Thomas (Donna) Piorkowski of Trumbull, Connecticut and sister Anne (Bill) Sisson of West Palm Beach, Florida.  He also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He will also be missed by his friends, Guy & Jeanine, Katy, Cate, Karine, Nathalie & Thierry, Manon & Corentin, Nathalie G., Max, Eddy & Mag , David... from France and Benny & Debbie, Ken, Jane, Mikael O., Charles R., Jimmy I., Iza & Marvin W., Mary Q., Mark F...... from Florida & South Carolina.

Funeral service will be private.
