Leo Paul Boudreau Jr

March 27, 1952 — January 12, 2025

Greenville

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leo Paul Boudreau, who went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2025. Paul was born on March 27, 1952, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to the late Leo Boudreau Sr. and Dorothy May Boudreau.

A devoted and loving husband, Paul shared 44 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Gail Roberta Boudreau. Their bond was one of deep love and shared faith in Christ. Paul was a born-again Christian, with a strong belief in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his faith guided him throughout his life.

Paul was an incredible father to his four children: Melissa (Jason) Phillips of Greenville, SC, Missy (late Tom) Rock of St. Augustine, FL, Jennifer Shuhart of Williamston, SC, and George Shuhart of Greenville, SC. His legacy lives on in his 11 cherished grandchildren: Destiny (Zack) Smith, Josh (Taylor) Patterson, Megan (Josh) Dockery, Kristen (Aaron) Mills, Chaz (Tya) Slater, Gabie Phillips, Zackary Phillips, Kylan Phillips, Hayleigh Shuhart, Madi Shuhart, and Noah Phillips, along with 13 great-grandchildren: Karsyn, Hudson, Adalynn, Oli, Payton, Eli, Levi, Nixon, Ellison, Everette, Shep, Milas, and Baylor. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Leo Sr. and Dorothy May Boudreau.

Paul had a great love for the outdoors and treasured his time camping, vacationing, and exploring the mountains. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially watching hummingbirds come to the feeders outside his window. He was always planning his next adventure, and it brought him great happiness to share those moments with his family. Paul’s life was centered around love, faith, and adventure, and he wanted to share his journey with everyone he cared for. Paul also had a profound respect for his mother's Native American heritage, a bond that enriched his life and deepened his appreciation for the world around him.
