Lena E. Tartera, 99, formerly of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Lena was born in Staten Island, New York on October 19, 1918. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Pessoli and beloved wife of the late Frank V. Tartera.
Lena is survived by one son, John F. Tartera, DDS (Victoria) formerly of Williamsport; three granddaughters, Melissa Yetter (Christopher), Christina Donnell (Richard), and Amy Tartera; and five great-grandchildren. Lena was preceded in death by one sister, Flora Pravata.
Services honoring her memory will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Yetter Trust, c/o M. Yetter, 655H Fairview Road, #173, Simpsonville, SC 29680 for the future needs of her great-grandchildren.
