Lee Marcus Orr

Lee Marcus Orr, 79, of Wellford, SC, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House in Spartanburg, SC. Born on January 13, 1937 in Arkwright, SC to his parents, James Green Orr and Ethel Elizabeth (Benson) Orr, he was a lifelong resident of the area and he worked as a Heating and Air Conditioning Technician. Mr. Orr served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered for his generosity and helping people.

Mr. Orr is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Travis Lee Orr; his daughter, Elizabeth Denise Orr and numerous brothers and sisters. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Freda Marie Orr of Wellford, SC; his sons, James Marcus Orr and wife, Megan of Wellford, Tyler Lance Orr of Wellford, David Orr of Spartanburg; Terry Orr of Spartanburg; his daughters, Pam Orr of Inman and Rhonda Orr of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Christian Orr and numerous other grandchildren.
