Lawrence Earl Mauldin, known affectionately as Earl to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home on May 9, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on February 11, 1963, in Greenville, SC, Earl was a man whose life was characterized by his kind nature, selfless spirit, and loving heart.

Earl was predeceased by his father, Robert Earl Mauldin, his stepmother, Joyce Mauldin, and his brothers, Larry and Jorn Mauldin. He is survived by his devoted mother, Shirley Ann Mauldin, his loving wife of many years, Tina Dianne Davis Mauldin, and his cherished children, Hope Dawn (Mack) Johnson and Lawrence Earl Mauldin II (Portia). Earl was a proud grandfather to Hannah (Travis) Johnson, Shylie (Nick) Johnson, Jaydon Johnson, Aubrey Johnson, Hunter, Liam, and Chase Johnson, and a great-grandfather to Calvin Johnson and Christian Dameron. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Lisa) Mauldin, his sister, Bobbie Jo (Jacob) Mauldin Spires, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Earl's life was a testament to the value of hard work and dedication. He spent many years in farming and the textile industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. His colleagues and friends within these communities will remember him as a man who was always ready to share his knowledge and expertise.

Passionate about the outdoors, Earl found joy in fishing, hunting, and racing. He cherished the opportunity to spend time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren play outside. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family, and he took every chance to create lasting memories with them.

Those who knew Earl will recall his kind demeanor, which was ever-present whether he was sharing a story or offering support. His selfless nature was evident in the way he lived his life, always putting the needs of others before his own. Earl's loving presence created a warmth that filled the lives of those around him, and his influence will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to Earl, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the many lives he touched with his generosity and kindness. Earl's story is one of a life well-lived, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

We take comfort in the knowledge that Earl's spirit will continue to guide us, just as the memories of the times we shared will continue to inspire us. As we honor his memory, we are reminded of the impact one person can have on the lives of many, and we are grateful for the time we had with Earl, our beloved family member, friend, and pillar of the community.

Earl's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony, surrounded by those who loved him most. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness, and it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye. Earl will be forever remembered and forever missed.
