Kylan McKee Ertzberger

Kylan McKee Ertzberger, of Greer, SC passed away on March 18, 2023, at age 36.
He graduated from Wade Hampton High School and then attended the University of South Carolina. Kylan chose a career as an Auto Adjuster and Appraiser for Esurance and National General excelling in his field.
Kylan’s plan to be a lifelong bachelor was altered completely in 2014 when he met Sarah Morton and he was later amazed with the blessing of his beautiful son, Wade.
He was selective about friends but fiercely loyal to them and his family. He loved going to the lake, fishing, golfing, and most recently, competing in shooting matches. Kylan’s sharp wit was legendary.
Kylan is survived by his wife Sarah Ertzberger and his son Wade Ertzberger; his parents Larry and Patti Ertzberger; his brother Andrew Ertzberger; grandmothers Ann Jones and Bobbie Ledford; uncles and aunts Kent and Shirley Jones, Rick Ertzberger, Tony Ertzberger, Tracie Barrs. He was loved by numerous cousins, great-aunts, and uncles.
Kylan is preceded in death by his grandfathers J. B. Jones and Jerome Ledford; and great grandmothers, Christine Albertson and “Nanny Pat” Burrell.
Kylan’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the gym at Covenant United Methodist Church, 1310 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, SC 29650 from 2-4 pm. This will be time to tell stories, see friends and enjoy our time together. Please come as you are!
