Konnye Raye Bennett

Konnye Raye Bennett, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on January 26, 1960, in Oakland, California, Konnye was a beacon of warmth and friendliness whose kindness touched all who knew her.

Survived by her devoted husband, Chris Bennett, Konnye leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was a beloved mother to her daughter, Crystal Michelle, and an adored grandmother to Kiley Grace, both of whom brought immense joy to her life. Konnye is also survived by her sisters, Cindy Keller, Holly Platts, and Nikki Mundy, who will miss her deeply. Though predeceased by her father Nicky Webb, mother Connie McAbee, brother Terry Blackcloud, and sister Jolanda Webb, Konnye's spirit continues to resonate with the family.

Konnye was a retired daycare worker and happy homemaker who filled her home with an atmosphere of care and comfort. Her voice was a familiar delight in the choir at Paris View Baptist Church, where she also served the community, volunteering at the ministry for the Homeless every third Thursday.

Konnye's passions were many; she relished time spent cooking, camping, singing in church, painting, and taking trips to the mountains and ocean. Those who knew Konnye will remember her as a bastion of love, a kind soul, and a friendly face in every crowd. Her memory will be treasured, her presence sincerely missed.
