Kenneth James Simpson

Kenneth James Simpson, 60, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Greenville, South Carolina following a long battle with heart failure. Kenneth was born on May 11, 1955 in Akron, Ohio to his parents, Tommy and Shirley Ann (Wright) Simpson. Kenneth worked as a Manager for Cash America Pawn Shop in Greenville. He enjoyed bowling and will be remembered by those he knew as a Good Hearted Man. Those who will most cherish Kenneth’s memory are his wife, Marie Simpson of Greer; his sons, Bryan Simpson of Simpsonville and Brad Simpson of Greer; his step father, Robert Chambers and wife, Ollie of Spartanburg; his sisters, Brenda Dodson and Debbie Revas, both of Greenville. Kenneth is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends. A memorial service to remember and honor Kenneth’s life will be held privately among his family at a later date.
