Kenneth Byron Shaw, affectionately known as Kenny to his friends and family, left this world on August 25, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on January 16, 1940, in Greenville, South Carolina, Kenny was a man whose laughter and intellect touched all corners of his community in Pelzer, SC, where he peacefully passed away.

Kenny's life was marked by his devotion to his beloved wife, Judy Shaw, and their cherished children, Robin Shaw (Terry Dillard),  and son Todd Shaw, who married Jeanne. His role as a brother was held dear to his heart, with sisters Barbara Jordan, Sylvia Roper, and Donna Shaw sharing in the tapestry of his life's story. His family was the cornerstone of his existence, and the love and lessons he imparted continue to ripple through their lives.

Professionally, Kenny dedicated many years as a Lab Technician at Owens Corning Fiberglas. His meticulous work ethic and innovative spirit contributed to advancements in his field, and the friendships he forged there lasted well into his retirement. Kenny's colleagues remember him as a beacon of humor and wisdom, always ready to lend a hand or share an insightful thought.
