Kenneth Nicholas Chepy

Kenneth N Chepy passed away on November 9, 2023. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Helen and Charles Chepy on September 28, 1946. He leaves behind his wife Kathy, a loving family, and many friends.
Ken was in the US Army and served in Vietnam. Before leaving the military, he attained the rank of Major. After completing his military service, he went to work for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) which was the beginning of his career in information technology. He left EDS to attend the University of South Carolina, where he earned a BS in Business Administration. After graduating, he worked in management for and retired from IBM.
Ken's greatest pleasures in life came from playing golf, working as a volunteer at the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta for 32 years, and refereeing college basketball in the ACC and SEC for over two decades. Ken and Kathy enjoyed traveling and saw many beautiful parts of the world.
A private memorial will be held and the interment will be held at the MJ "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
