Kenneth Lee Burgess passed away on June 7, 2023, in Greenville, SC. Born on January 16, 1965, Kenneth was always known for his kindness and sense of humor.
Kenneth was the beloved son of Sammy L. Burgess of Greenville, SC, and Linda Burgess Stewart of Easley, SC. He is survived by his sons, Drake and Dustin Burgess of Easley, SC, and granddaughter Harper. Kenneth is also survived by his brother, Alan Burgess of Taylors, SC, and sister, Jennifer Perfater of Easley, SC. He was predeceased by his late wife, Teresa (Rice) Burgess.
Kenneth attended Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC, and went on to become a skilled barber for several years, where he continued to demonstrate his kind and caring nature.
Kenneth's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will always remember him as a loving and thoughtful man. His funeral service will be held at the Cremation Society of SC Westville Funerals at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 20th at 1 pm. There will be no prior visitation per his prior request. The family will be located at each of their prospective homes.
