Kavyza Brown, affectionately known by his loved ones as Voz, DK, and Ruddy, left this world on May 14, 2024, at the age of 24. Born on March 5, 2000, in Greenville, South Carolina, Kavyza was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew him. He passed away in Easley, South Carolina, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Kavyza was the cherished son of Felicia and Demetrius Fleming, and Caribe and Tracy Brown. He was a beloved brother to Lamarcus Harris, Karrie Brown, Nevaeh Fleming, Shabria Tabron, Monique Dubose, Jaquasha Allgood, Quinyonna Jenkins, Deishane Rasmey, Erika Johnson, Dreaona Jenkins, Nyasia Johnson, and Azziah Johnson. His grandparents, Darlene Monfort, Beverly Fleming, and James Reddish, along with his great grandmother, Ruth Reddish, held him dear in their hearts. Kavyza was predeceased by his grandparents Janice Harrison, Willie Mae Reddish, and Wilbert Martin. His godmother, Jackie Wright, held a special place in his life. Kavyza was a devoted father to Kassidy and Mason Brown, and a loving partner to his girlfriend, Chelcia Jefferies. His special friend, Liyah Davis, and his godson Jhadison, held a unique and cherished place in his life.
Kavyza's extended family was vast and full of love, including a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss his presence immensely. His family was a cornerstone of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. The Dougherty Family, along with his Aunt Demetra Moon, cousin Travis Moon, and Aunt and Uncle Serena and Haskell Nutridge, were integral parts of his life, offering support and love throughout his journey. Educationally, Kavyza reached the 11th grade at Carolina High School. His work history included various positions in the fast food industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to achieve anything he set his mind to. Kavyza's associates knew him as someone who, once determined, would not stop until he succeeded.
Kavyza's interests were as vibrant and dynamic as his personality. He had a passion for dancing and rapping, often sharing his talents with those around him. His ability to finesse any situation was matched only by his love for his family and friends. Kavyza's life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and perseverance.
