Karen 'K.K.' Steading

Karen 'K.K.' Steading, 62, went to be with the Lord Oct. 18, 2016. Born in Greenville, K.K. was a daughter of the late Johnnie Thomas and Louise Bayne Phillips. She was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church, where she served as pianist for over 25 years. She was an avid gardener, having received a Master Horticulturalist certificate from Clemson University.
Surviving are three brothers, Harold Phillips, Terry Phillips, and Ray Phillips, all of Greer; many nieces and nephews and extended family.
A memorial gathering will be held at 3 PM, Sun., Oct. 23 at Burnsview Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Burnsview Baptist Church, 9690 Reidville Rd., Greer, SC 29651. Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals www.cremation-sc.com
