Karen Lynn Christian Rodgers, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and family Queen passed from this life into the arms of God on Monday, February 14, 2022, as she was being lovingly cared for by the great staff at McCall Hospice House of Simpsonville.
Karen was born in Anderson, SC on December 24, 1957. She was married to her husband Jon for 30 years. Karen loved her family and hosting family gatherings at her home. She was a lady of many talents. She was well known for her organizational and computer skills. Her work included office management, AP, payroll and benefits. Her passionate work was her time grooming dogs in her mobile grooming van. Her love for her dogs was also well known. She is being terribly missed by Pablo, Chico, Frankie and Lucy.
Karen’s love for her family was her priority.
In addition to her loving husband Jon Rodgers, she is survived by her mother, Betty Myers Jackson; her children, Adam J Jarosiewicz, Amy Jarosiewicz Brewster and her husband Jody Brewster, and her stepson Philip Rodgers and his wife Amy Rodgers. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Janusz Schenk, Jerzy Jarosiewicz, DevinLee Brewster and Kaylin Bell. In addition to her stepmother Becky Christian, she is also survived by her sister, Terry Christian, and her brother, Randy Christian. She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Christian; her brother, Ricky W Christian, and his wife, Nancy Christian.
The memorial service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 1 PM at Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Karen by making contributions to McCall Hospice House of Simpsonville.
