Justin Marsh, a cherished son, fiancé, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on May 4, 1984, in Greenville, SC, Justin's life was a testament to the joy and love he brought to everyone around him.
Justin, affectionately known by his friends and family as just "Justin," was the beloved son of Deborah Marsh and the late John Marsh. He was the light of his mother's life and a source of constant joy to his fiancée, Wendi Keith, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. Justin's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter with his sister Nina Marsh-Thomas (Rory), his aunt Teresa (Chuck) Marchbanks, his cousin Corey O'Neill, who was like a brother to him, Meg Bullington, Tracy (Jared) Bullington Buniger and Jan White, and Aunt Jaye Bullington and Aunt Carolyn White and his late uncles Paul and David Bullington. His trusted German Shepherd, Zeus, was his loyal companion and brought him immeasurable happiness.
Justin's early years were marked by his involvement with the Travelers Rest Band, where he graduated in the Class of 2002. His passion for music continued throughout his life, and he could often be found strumming his guitar, a pastime that brought him great solace and joy. His love for music was matched only by his love for movies, trivia, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
An avid fan of fast cars, loud motorcycles, and Clemson football, Justin lived life with a contagious zest. His intelligence and humor were evident to all who knew him, and his ability to light up a room with his presence will be sorely missed.
Justin's best friend and brother in spirit, John Carver, shared many adventures with him, and their bond was one of mutual respect and endless fun. Together, they navigated the roads of life, always ready for the next journey.
Those who knew Justin will remember him as a loving, funny, and intelligent man. His laughter was infectious, his wit sharp, and his heart generous. He had a unique ability to make each person feel valued and loved, a trait that endeared him to many.
As we say goodbye to Justin, we celebrate the remarkable person he was and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the music we play, and the love we hold for him. Justin's life was a beautiful melody that resonated with warmth, love, and laughter, and though his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Justin's journey on earth has concluded, but his legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his memory will be cherished forever by all who loved him.
