Judy Annette Bridges

Judy Annette Bridges, (69 yrs) of Mauldin, SC, passed away on February 22, 2022.
Survivors include her husband of 12 years Robert Lamar Bridges.
Born in Bluffton, OH , she grew up in South FL, moving to SC the last 12 yrs of her life. She was the
Fourth daughter of Jacob Aron Warkentin and Freda Jean Fritchie Warkentin.
She graduated with an Associates Degree in Business and a 3 Year Bible Certificate from Faith Bible Institute.
She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church, Mauldin, SC, Pastor Dennis Richey, where she served the Lord in many areas. She had an immense love for dogs and enjoyed crafting in her free time.
She will be remembered for her big smile, love for Christ, service to Him, and the joy she brought to any situation. Her love for her children was evident by the joy in her voice anytime she talked of them.
Judy is survived by her husband, Robert Lamar Bridges, son, Carl Wayne Bretz II (Rosenda Bretz), grandchildren Jeshaiah N. Bretz (Angelina Bretz) Joshua A. Bretz (Rory Bretz), Joy E. Bretz, Jarred L. Bretz, Alexis Heeringa, Jaclyn Heeringa, her daughter, Susan Annette Elliott (Richard A Elliott), grandchildren, Krysta A. Engel (Joshua P. Engel), great granddaughter, Allison Mae Engel, Keith A. Elliott (Shaliza Elliott), Kyndell A. Elliott, Kayla A. Myers, Kevin A. Elliott, Kamden A. Elliott, Kyleigh A. Elliott, and son Jason Nathaniel Bretz. Her sisters, Janise A. Abbott, Jayne Agnes Williams, Jeryl Anise Collins, Julie Andrea Eby, an adopted sister, "J" Odean Brown, along with 8 nephews and neices. Preceeded in death, Jacob Aron Warkentin (father), Freda Jean Warkentin(mother), Jean Ann Allcroft(sister), and a nephew.
The Memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 2 p.m., held at Glendale Baptist Church, 212 E. Butler Rd., Mauldin, SC 29662.
There will be a graveside service at Clymers Cemetery just outside of Bluffton, OH, date to be determined.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be given in support of her husband C/O Glendale Baptist Church.
