Judith Ann Parker Bowling, affectionately known as Judy to her friends and family, passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 80, in Lincoln, MT. Born on March 26, 1944, Judy's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and adventure, woven with the threads of her enduring spirit and the warmth of her presence.
Judy was the cherished daughter of the late John Clifford Parker and Grace Watts Parker. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Charles E. Bowling, her sister Margaret Wilcox, and her parents. Her memory will be forever held in the hearts of her surviving brother, John C. Parker (Rita), her children, Charlotte Michelle Gardin (Cameron), Charles Michael Bowling (Kristy), Jeffrey Earl Bowling (Tonia), and Jennifer Erin Lee (Michael), as well as her adored grandchildren, Geoffrey Zane Bowling (Melissa), Christopher Lee, Tyler Bowling, Riley Bowling, Nicholas Lee, Cheyenne Lee, and Tayla Erin Bowling. Judy was also a proud great-grandmother to Gabriella, Emmalise, and Kelsie Bowling. Her life was further enriched by the companionship of Rod Cousins, with whom she shared eight wonderful years.
Judy's professional life was dedicated to serving others through her work with H+R Block, where she continued to contribute her expertise and care until her passing. Her commitment to her career was paralleled only by her devotion to raising her family, a role she embraced with boundless love and energy.
Those who knew Judy will remember her for her love of traveling, which took her to many places and filled her life with unforgettable experiences. She had a passion for crossword puzzles, which kept her mind sharp and her wit quick. Judy's love for family musicals was a testament to her appreciation for the arts and the joy of storytelling through song. An adventurous soul, she found freedom on the open road while riding motorcycles and was a formidable opponent at the poker table, where her sense of humor and strategic mind often led her to victory.
Judy's life was characterized by her loving nature, her funny and quick-witted banter, and her adventurous spirit, which inspired all who knew her to embrace life with zest and courage. She was a beacon of light and joy in her community, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.
As we bid farewell to Judy, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, a journey marked by the love she gave and the love she received. Her legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and adventure, and it will continue to live on in the stories shared by her family and friends. Judy's life was a beautiful reflection of the words that best described her: loving, funny, and adventurous.
Judy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded of the joy she found in simple pleasures, the strength she drew from her loved ones, and the laughter that echoed in the moments we shared.
