Juanita Marie Hall

July 5, 1954 — February 2, 2025

Greenville, SC

Juanita Marie Hall, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 70 in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on July 5, 1954, in Clinton, Iowa, Juanita's life was a tapestry of generosity and warmth that touched everyone she knew.

Juanita's journey began in Clinton as the cherished daughter of the late Anna and Richard Olson on their way to Florida. She landed in Tampa, Frostproof, and Plant City where she wed. Her formative years in Florida were shared with her siblings, the late Michael Olson, Dot Armstrong, Richard Olson, Patty Anderson, Jon Olson, and Lorrie Koisa, who together formed an unbreakable bond that would last a lifetime.

In her youth, Juanita's love for the simple pleasures in life became evident. She found joy in dancing, the beauty of flowers, the tranquility of bird watching, and the ambience of the beach. Her passion for trivia revealed her raw intellect and love for learning, which she carried with her through every chapter of her life.

Juanita's heart found its match in Wilbert "Bert" Hall, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter and devotion. Their love blossomed into a family with the arrival of their daughters, Kathryn, Lesley, and Anna. Juanita's role as a mother was one she cherished deeply, instilling values of kindness and generosity in her children. Her legacy continued to grow with the birth of her granddaughter, Tracey King, who became the apple of Juanita's eye. Her nurturing spirit and loving guidance were gifts that she freely gave to her family, creating an environment where love was always the answer. She was easy to put you at ease with her quick wit and silent charm. Her humor was disarming and infectious. She was a loving surrogate mother to many.

She was a devoted employee for nearly 40 years at Fluor, and brought much joy and expertise to the office.

Those who knew Juanita will remember her as the trivia master with family, the first to lend a helping hand, and the constant source of loving advice. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her kindness was a light that will continue to shine in the hearts of those she left behind.

Juanita's life was a testament to the power of love and beauty of a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have been graced by her presence. Juanita Marie Hall's memory will forever be cherished as a reminder of the profound impact one kind soul can have on the world.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 2pm at the Cremation Society, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.

In lieu of flowers make a donation to the ALS Society of Greenville SC.

To my love,

The moon is still over your shoulder

The stars keep falling above

You never get one minute older

And I'm still falling in love

I love you Juanita,

Bert
