It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Juan Francisco Andrade Hernandez, affectionately known as JuanFra, on January 29, 2025, in Greer, South Carolina. A life embraced with love, wisdom, and a touch of creative genius, Juan Fran was born on August 21, 1951, in Francisco Morazán, Honduras and spent his final moments surrounded by the warmth of his family and the memories that filled his heart.
Juan Fran's journey through life was marked by his remarkable versatility, both in his professional endeavors and his innate abilities. Trained as an accountant, his career path also led him to roles as a truck driver, warehouse worker, carpenter, and supervisor at a textile warehouse. A master of trades, his talent for woodworking and his knack for fixing just about anything were emblematic of his intelligent and analytical nature.
Yet, it was his courageous spirit as a family man that stood tallest among his many qualities. A steadfast husband to his beloved wife, Aurelia of 20 years, and a guiding light to his children—Franklin, Yamileth, Karen, Adonis, Oscar, and stepchildren Breudy Garcia, Robinson Garcia, and Rosailin Carter—Juan Fran's legacy as a nurturing father and an exemplary grandfather will forever be cherished.
Juan Fran's life was a testament to the strength of character, the value of adaptability, and the power of familial love. As we reflect on his enduring influence, we hold dear the memory of a man who was truly the heart of his family. He will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
