Joyce Creighton Douglas

Joyce Creighton Douglas of Brevard, North Carolina, widow of David Hal Douglas and daughter of the late Charles and Sara Creighton of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on March 20, 2021. She was 96. She was predeceased by her son Jetton Scott Douglas and her sisters Deedy Creighton Linforth and Carol Creighton Huntley. She is survived by her grandson David Creighton Douglas Jr. and his mother Susan Scovern Douglas. In addition, she is survived by her nieces and nephews who loved her: Avolyn and Todd Smith, Charlotte, and Hector Colon, Drake and Karin Linforth, Sara Huntley Noone, and Lori Huntley, widow of the late William Huntley III. Joyce and Hal Douglas were for many years the proprietors of Greylogs, their fine dining restaurant in Caesars Head, South Carolina. Joyce was a communicant and Altar Guild member of St. Philips Episcopal Church in Brevard. Memorial donations may be made to St. Philips Church or to any local Humane Society. Services will be held at a later date.
