Born in Clinton, SC, She was the daughter of the late Otto and Olga Wainright. She was a homemaker
and the wife of Miles G. Lawson. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Joy is survived by her husband
Miles, a brother Jimmy Wainright and his wife Bonnie, a sister-in-law Fay Woodard. She had a brother
who preceded her in death, Billy Woodard. She had 5 nieces and 8 nephews. A memorial service will
be held Wed. June 29, 2:00 PM, at The Clinton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses
