Joseph Lapall Carter, 55, of Greer, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. A native of Greenville, he was the son on Barbara Jean Carter and the late James Hall.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Isaiah Carter, I.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Banks Carter; mother, Barbara Stokely; children, Joseph Carter Jones, Jr., Isaiah Carter, II, Xaverian Evans, Amanda Banks, Vida Banks, Te-Keisha Adams, Danya McGee, and Wasiu Sholo Lomowa; siblings, Tangie Carter, Samuel Carter, Bruce Carter, John Carter, and Ruby Carter and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
