Jose Antonio Cabrera

June 13, 1951 — October 13, 2020

“Brother,” the word encompasses so many difficult things to be said. But full of such beautiful things like love, respect, and caring for those we love. It fills us with those memories to always cherish in our hearts. Toño, you were the first of that generation of siblings, of indomitable fighters. Filled with virtues and errors yet saturated by our mother’s teachings: to be dignified and proud. Always with our heads held high.
As a father and a husband you were happy, upright and a jokester with your children. A loving husband, attentive to your wife and daughters Gifting the most cherished inheritance one can leave to his family, all with love, this is known as wisdom.
You were an exceptional uncle, full of love, patience and charisma. Always offering wise advice. A pillar to the whole family. You leave a legacy that is difficult to equal. Your studies in Russia, your Doctorate in International Relations and your work for The United Nations. Our pride in knowing that you participated in the signing of the Peace Accord of El Salvador in N.Y.. Your time serving as Counsultate of El Salvador in Atlanta, Ga.
Just and respectful of your adversaries, never looking down on anyone. Humble in victory. You were modest walking on this earth, we will never forget you.

Your family that loves you.

¡Always until the victory!
