Johnny Edward " Eddie " Moore

Johnny Edward “ Eddie “ Moore, 50, of Easley, SC, passed from this life on Monday, June 26, 2017 at the home of his mother in Greenville, SC. Eddie was born on February 17, 1967 in Greenville, SC to his parents, Cecil Edward Moore and Rebecca Jean (Finley) Moore. Eddie resided in the Upstate for most of his life and he will be remembered as a man who touched a lot of hearts with his humor. His pranks and jokes brought many smiles and much laughter to so many people.

Eddie is preceded in death by his father. Those who will most treasure his memory are his daughter, Megan Lee Moore Stansell and her husband, Johnathan Daniel of Greenville; his mother, Rebecca Jean Finley Posey of Greenville; his sister, Dana Elaine Moore Jenkins of Greenville; his niece, Christian Elaine Jenkins and his nephew, Robert Keith Jenkins both of Greenville.

A memorial service to remember and honor Eddie’s life is being planned and will be announced once completed. Just before Eddie was called home, his mama took him swimming and the following day his cousin/ brother, Wyman took him fishing. Eddie went home with a smile and a joy in his heart doing what he loved to do.

Visitation is July 1, 2017 at 12:30 - 1:00pm at West Greenville Baptist Church 549 Perry Ave., Greenville, SC 29611 followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00pm at West Greenville Baptist Church.
