Johnny Ray Moore Sr

Johnny Ray Moore, Sr., 65, of Greenville, passed away on October 21, 2021. A native of Pontiac, MI, he was the son of the late Kenneth Ray Moore and Clara Belle Lock Moore. Growing up near the lakes instilled a lifelong love of fishing. He was a hard worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Phyllis Williamson and Paula Southerland; brother, Charles “Chuck” Moore, Sr., and grandma, May Lock.
He is survived by his children, Johnny Ray Moore, Jr., Jimmy Wayne Moore, Jessica (Matthew) White, and Jeremy Lee (Sandy) Moore; Pops and Memaw, James Michael and Carmen Enlow; sister-in-law, Angela Heath Moore; step-son, Freddie Sentell; former companion and mother to his children, Darla Cox Moore; grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Isabel Gutierrez, Sebashtion Lee, Harmony Moore, Tristan McElrath, Scarlet Elise, and another one due close to his birthday and dogs, Buddy and Baby Girl.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Piedmont Heights Baptist Church, 204 Anderson St, Piedmont, SC 29673 with Rev. Larry Clayton officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
