Johnny James Dodgens, Sr. passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016. He was born in Anderson, SC to Lula Carleen Burke of Easley, SC and the late James Edward Dodgens. He owned his own painting company and was a Professional Wrestler also owning his own wrestling company. He is survived by his fiancé: Jennelyn Gargar of the Phillipines; daughters: Joanie Dodgens Thompson of Easley, Julie Dodgens Moss of Campobello and step-daughter: Jennifer Kirby of Pacolet; a son: Johnny James Dodgens, Jr. of Linden, NC; sisters: Teresa Reece of Liberty and Denise Dodgens Rowland of Seneca; step-sister: Pebbles Nabors of Easley; brothers: Rickey Gene Dodgens of Westminster and Rickey Edward Dodgens of Liberty; step-brother: Gene Mccall of Pickens; five grandchildren: Jeremy Christian Moss and Peyton James Moss of Campobello, Gabriel Alexander Thompson and Savannah Juliet Thompson of Tulsa, OK. He was predeceased by a grandchild: Jacob Blaine Moss and a brother: Joe Edward Burke. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 2:30 -3:30pm at Welcome Baptist Church, Central, SC followed by the funeral at 3:30pmand burial in the church cemetery.
