John R. Nowicki

John R. Nowicki, 75 of Greenville SC Formally of Milwaukee, Wisconsin died on January 4, 2024.

John was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s School of business and went on to a long career in banking retiring as President of Community Bank and Trust.

John enjoyed a lifetime of travel with friends and family, as well as cycling, paddle boarding, fishing, and the annual GWB ( golf with the boys). He was kind, generous, and friendly, but most of all he had a great personality. John was always ready with a handshake and a smile. He worked hard at having fun, and he will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia, brother Peter Nowicki (Marianne), sister Valerie Schroeder (Fred), brother Richard Nowicki ( Debra), stepbrother Mac Weldon, stepsister Pamela Garcia ( Robert) along with many loving nephews, nieces, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard M Nowicki and Geraldine S Tucker.

John was also survived by his stepmother Lucille Gorder.

Heartfelt thanks to those who cared for John, especially Alexia and the Hospice team with Agape.

In lieu of flowers, John was a lifelong blood donor and requests family and friends to please donate blood if you can, or in the alternative please give to the Alzheimer Association.

Funeral Services will be private.
