John Haskell Moore

John Haskell Moore, 62, of Greenville, SC, departed this life on June 20th, 2021. He was the son of the late James Moore and Bernice Wright Moore.

John, affectionately called “Haskell”, was born in Greenville, SC on March 20th, 1959. He attended Washington High School. In his adult life, he played on the Greenville Steelers Semi Pro Football team and worked for IAC Co. as a Forklift driver.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Denise (Neise) Moore and his brother Allen Moore.

Haskell leaves to cherish fond memories 3 daughters, Chineca (Rodney) Stewart, Tyshekia (Cameron Jr.) Hammonds and Keanna Young all of Greenville, SC. One son, Robert (Duce) Jones of Greenville, SC and extended daughter Lamile Posey of Greenville, SC. 2 sisters Catherine Salter and Lois Moore both of Greenville, SC. Father-in -Law Kenneth Taylor Sr. of Greenville, SC. 2 Sisters-in-law, Elaine (Phillip) Heyward and Lashawn Smith. Brother-in -law Ken Taylor of Kennewick, WA. 12 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Ny’Kedra, Ken-Troya, Demaris, Tyiesha, LaTyra, Camaya, Cameron III, Carmen, Chris, Destiny and Kaleb. 3 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
