Joey is the beloved son of, John William McCall, and Karen McCall. Joey is the cherished grandson of Jay and Sue McCall, and Jonnie and B.J. Campbell. He was a loving brother to John Robert McCall, Adam McCall, Chad Mixon, and Lee Mixon, and a treasured nephew to his uncle’s Eddie McCall, Rodney McCall, Bobby Hunter, Lake Evette, and Mike Burch, and his aunts Donna Burch, Tina Morris, Lisa Miller, Missy Hunter. He was predeceased by his mother Venice “Maxine” Truett, and his grandparents "Buck" Weldon Truett, Katherine "Kay" Melton, Sam "June" Melton, and his aunt Louise Evette. Joey was a devoted father to his son John William Jacob McCall, and his daughter Chloe Sophia McCall. He was a caring brother-in-law to Lisa Daswell and a fun-loving uncle to Dale Mixon, Michael Mixon, Tori Mixon, and Brooke Mixon. His cousins as well as his iron worker brother “Josh Smith”, Kyle McCall, and Corey McCall will remember him fondly.
Joey was a man who lived life to the fullest. He was a passionate supporter of the Clemson Tigers, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He was the kind of man who could fix anything except his cars and trucks, a trait that made him indispensable at home and at work.
