John Wesley " Joey " Legg, Jr.

May 9, 1957 — March 6, 2017

John Wesley "Joey " Legg, Jr., 59, of 28 Theodore Circle, Greenville, passed away, March 6, 2017 at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. A native of Piedmont, he worked as a painter for the family business for many years. He was a member of Welcome Baptist Church, Greenville, South Carolina.

Survivors include daughter, Tori Legg Morehead (Joey Black) of Seneca, granddaughter, Braylee Morehead of Seneca, sister, Tina Legg (Tim Sweet) of Piedmont, brother, Andy Legg ( Renee Legg) of Greenville, nephew, Andy Holden, Greenville. He was loved by many special cousins.

He was preceded in death by mother, Dora Lee Cowart Legg, Father, John W. Legg Sr., brother, Craig Steven Legg, Both sets of grandparents, and son in law, Tommy Morehead.

A visitation at 2 pm and a celebration of life will be held at 3 pm, Friday, March 10, 2017 from the Chapel of the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC, 29611. A private burial will be held at a later date. The family will be at there respective homes. Flowers are accepted.
