John Francis LeBlanc Sr
John LeBlanc, formerly of Mason, NH and Arlington, MA, died peacefully at the Southern Oaks nursing home in Greenville, South Carolina on May 18, 2017 after his courageous battle with Alzheimers disease.
Born in Stamford, Connecticut on May 11th, 1953 to Frank and Regina (Comeau) LeBlanc he was the youngest of 4 siblings, Ralph, LLoyd, and Leeander LeBlanc. John attended and graduated from North Quincy High school in Massachusetts in 1971. He met his loving wife Linda Hook and married August 10, 1973.  John also graduated from Boston University.
John loved his work as special police for the city of Boston, Ma early in his law enforcement career, his passion for locksmithing, and as a EMT.
After moving to Mason, NH he joined the Mason police where he continued to serve the community until 2014. John also enjoyed working for the Hillsborough County Deparment of Corrections at the Valley Street jail in Manchester, NH for 18 years until his retirement in 2014. He was a liscenced and certified firearms instructor for the state of NH, and part of the Teamsters.
He is survived by his sons, John Jr and his wife Michelle LeBlanc of Greenville,SC, James LeBlanc and wife Katelyn LeBlanc of Merrimack, NH, and daughter Laura Price and husband Michael Price of DeLand, Fl. He and Linda are also survived by Robert Hook Jr of Rahnam, Ma and Marissa Benson and significant other Curtis Byrne of Greenville, NH whom John and Linda had legal guardianship over.
His grandchildren include Sarah and Maxwell LeBlanc of South Carolina, Ethan LeBlanc , Madison and Hailey Hunt of New Hampshire, Charles and William Price of Florida, and Jackson Byrne of New Hampshire
