John Weston Kingsbury

d. September 29, 2015

John Weston Kingsbury, age 49, passed on to be with the Lord on September 29th, 2015.  He is survived by a daughter, Crystal Brook Kingsbury of Aurora, Colorado and a son, Kyle Noah Kingsbury of Greenville.  He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Narie Kingsbury (Millie), a brother Mark C. Kingsbury (Sharon), and a sister, Catherine K. Blair (Evan) of Greenville.  In addition, a niece, Jessica Lee Blair of Chattanooga, TN, and four nephews: Alex, Daniel, Joseph, and Luke Kingsbury of Greenville.

He was predeceased by his father, John Charles Kingsbury, and grandparents,  Dr. and Mrs. Charles H. Kingsbury (Grace) of Florence, SC; and maternal grandparents Ida Tripp Cook Jordan, and Guy W. Cook of Greenville.

John (Wes) was a graduate of USC Upstate.  He practiced as a Registered Nurse;   providing excellent patient care was especially important to him.  His great pleasure was camping, fishing, and outdoor activities with his daughter and son.  Son Kyle became a talented baseball player at an early age, making baseball a passion he shared with Kyle for many years.  Wes loved his family and often spoke of warm memories he had of visiting grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins as a child.

His interest included, hunting and fishing with friends and family, hiking, and watching his favorite baseball team, the Yankees play.  One highlight of his life was going on a mission trip to Nicarauga.  All in all, Wes had a tender heart and deep love for God, his children and family.  Wes will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
