John W. Karns

John W. Karns (66) passed on to his next venture on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
A long-time resident of Greenville he loved this town for over 43 years. He married Holly Johnson Karns
a few weeks shy of 41 years ago.
He traveled the world with his work in the Electrical Contracting Business, taking his family along when possible.
His greatest love was for his daughters, Sarah Starr (Jonathan) of Belmont NC, Emily Godfrey (Zac) of Greenville, and Mandy Odom (LaMarr) of Crystal River, Florida. He was blessed 3 more times to love his granddaughters,
Elisabeth Starr, Alli Roberts, and Lexi Roberts.
He is predeceased by his parents William F and Margaret K Karns and brother Paul Karns.
His Brother David Karns (Tao) resides near Denver, Colorado. Nieces Ruth Howard and Anne Anderson.
John lived the past 28 years on grace from God.
He never met a stranger sharing himself and his story. John was community-oriented, 30 plus years at Freedom Weekend Aloft,
Stone Lake Pool and 28 years with The Alano Club.
We miss him and will love him until we meet again... He is free-flying with those that went before him.
