John S Carter IV

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John S Carter IV, who passed on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the age of 36, in a motorcycle accident in Travelers Rest, SC. John was born on February 26, 1987, in Huntsville, AL, to John S Carter III and Debra L Flowers.

John will always be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving person. He had a smile that could light up a room and a heart of gold. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and family, and would always go out of his way to help anyone in need. He had a unique perspective on life and lived it to his own beat. He loved spending time outdoors and was always up for an adventure, whether it be at the beach, in the mountains, or on the river.

John is survived by his parents, John S Carter III (Kelly) of Madison, AL, and Debra L Flowers (John E) of Nags Head, NC, grandmother Toni Carter of Mountain Rest, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. He also leaves behind his beloved pets Kit Kat, Jackson, Oliva, and Opie, whom he adored more than anything.

John's passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
