John Dean Adair

June 14, 1959 — June 19, 2022

John Dean Adair, son of the late Charlton and Verdie Adair, of Pelzer, SC passed away in his home on June 19, 2022. He is survived by his wife Wanda Adair; his sons Kyle Lee Adair (Mikala) and Corey Rhodes, daughter, Arizona Williams, step-children, Jeremy Mitchell (Tasha), Mindy Dantaine, and Destiny Mitchell (Alan); his brothers Dale Adair, and Dennis Adair, his father-in-law Pops Farrow (Belinda), his mother-in-law Loretta Farrow, sister-in-law Shea Farrow, and grandchildren Maddie Evans, Breanna Evans, Steve Evans, Junior Mitchell, and Rowland Alexander Shaw.

John was preceded in death by his step children Justin Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell.

John was a huge Nascar fan, and a fan of racing in general. He raced go-karts and was affectionately known as “Deano” to his fellow racers. John always looked forward to Monday evenings, when he would enjoy watching Monday Night Raw with his son Kyle. It might be surprising to some, but John was also an avid gardener. Tending to his flowers and garden bed brought him peace in a busy world.

John was a kind and giving man and he will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, June 27 from 2-3pm at Horizon Church (1070 E Butler Rd, Greenville SC ). A celebration of John’s life will follow.
