Joe Dennis Weeks, Jr., husband of Cheryl Weeks, went home to be with his Lord on March 22, 2015.
Despite becoming disabled in 1993 and having continual health problems, he had a cheerful heart. Joe was a wonderful man and a good husband, father and grandfather, and he was dearly loved by all.
He is survived by his wife and his two children, Anna "Denise" Weeks and Alicia Weeks Poole.
He was the son of the late Joe D. Weeks, Sr. and Dorothy Virginia Kay and is survived by siblings Arlene Thurston, Rita Kelley, Missy Christian, Travis Bayne, three grandsons and one granddaughter. Joe is also survived by Aunts Marlene Allen and Maxine Land as well as Uncles and Aunts Randy and Brenda Mills, Curt and Donna Mills.
Flowers may be delivered to Park Place Church of God, 221 Orders St, Greenville, SC 29609, for the memorial service on March 26th at 6:00 pm, or in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
