JoAnn Hilda Gambrell

JoAnn Hilda Gambrell, 83, of Laurens, SC, passed away on December 31, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Mason and Grace Hopkins, born in Wahalla, SC, on March 31, 1938. JoAnn is survived by her children: Donna Gambrell, Cindy Gambrell Gwin (Darrell), and James Gambrell; grandchildren: Christopher Gambrell (Catherine), Brandon Gambrell (Lindsey), Timothy Gambrell, Bo Gambrell (Lynn), Justin Farmer, and Audrey F. Wood (Matt); and eight great-grandchildren. She lived a large portion of her life in San Diego, CA (1958-1975), and worked as a homemaker and retail until she retired. JoAnn may have left this earth but she will be forever in the hearts of the ones that she left behind.
