Jo Rita Black

"Jo"Rita Hill Black, AKA "Mawmaw" 66, of 2014 Keeler Mill Road, Greenville, SC went home to be with our Lord on My 16, 2016.
Jo was born in Carnegie, Oklahoma on February 27, 1950 to the late Monroe and Lula Hill. She was a retired Greenville County lunchroom manager who served 27 years at Alexander Elementary School. Her favorite charity was St. Judes. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger Dale Black, a daughter, Glenda Rado Black of the home, a son, Danny Ray Black of Greenville SC, three grand children Christa Black, Dillon Harvey and Scarlett Harvey. Three great grand children, Nevaeh Thomas, Emanuel Portelli, Tegan Tolley. Two sisters, Mary(Leon) Shelton, of Groves, TX, Ruby(Lathem) Moore of Missouri, a brother Allin Hill of Carnegie OK. In-laws Ted and Joan Scivedge of Easley SC, Rick and Jill Black of Travelers Rest SC, Dennis and Christine Helton of Easley SC and many more relatives spread out across the US.
Services for Jo will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at Westville Funeral Home 6010 White Horse Road in Greenville SC. Visitation from 1-2 PM, funeral at 2 PM followed by the burial at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest, SC.
