Jo Anne Simicich Waddell

Jo Anne Simicich Waddell of Greenville, SC went to heaven on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born September 2, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia to E.J. and Ruth Elder (Stripling) Simicich, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Rob Waddell; her brother Steve (Carol) Simicich; her sister Carla (Jim) Porter; her sister Nancy (Tony) Fischer; her favorite Aunt Gerry Smith; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that were very special to her.
Jo Anne had a notable career in the engineering/procurement industry and was respected and recruited for her talent. Jo Anne loved to celebrate life with her family and friends - those who knew her can recall fond memories. Whether you knew her as Jo Anne, Jo, Josephine, Jo Jo, Jo Mama or Aunt Jo Mama - to know her was to love her!
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Jo Anne’s favorite Mexican restaurant on Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m.
