Jimmy S. Allison

Jimmy Steele Allison, 78, of River Ridge Drive, Piedmont, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family.

Born and raised in Pelzer, Jimmy was the only son of the late William Lee and Daisy Mae (Thurston) Allison.

Jimmy was a true jack-of-all-trades with a knack for fixing anything. Whether tinkering with bicycles, boats, motorcycles, or cars, he found joy in working with his hands. His passion for helping animals reflected his kind spirit, and his love for fast vehicles showcased his adventurous side. Jimmy was a natural entertainer, often telling jokes and sharing laughter that brightened every room.

He is survived by the mother of his four children, Pok Im Kim Allison; his son, Johnny Allison (Samantha); and his three daughters, Jennie Allison (Yvonne), Connie Brennon (Eddie), and Sally Mann. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Morgan Asbell (Chris), Rylee Allison, Leevi Allison, Audrey Robinson (Ryan), Leah Brennon, Zack Mann, and Gracie Mann; two great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Brennon and Auden Robinson; son-in-law, Stacey Mann; and a sister, Linda Whitt. Jimmy was predeceased by two sisters, Ruby Bryson and Frances Spillers.

 Jimmy’s presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

 A memorial service celebrating Jimmy’s life will be held at a later date.
