Rev. Jiles H. 'Papa' Duncan, Jr., 90, beloved husband of Mildred Bynum Duncan for 65 years, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2014.
Born in Kings Mtn., NC, Rev. Jiles was a son of the late Jiles H. and Ollie Allen Duncan. He served the Lord as a lay minister and pastor for over 50 years, having pastored churches in HI, ID, IL, and SC.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters, Carol Evans (Mack) of Hawaii, Brenda Monteith (Lee) of Easley, Sandy Smith (Bub) of Greenville, and Amy LeBlanc (Gerald) of Mississippi; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Predeceased were one grandson, Robert Evans; two brothers and one sister.
Services will be held on Fri., Aug. 1 at Woodside Church of God. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm with the funeral at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens. CSSC-Westville Funerals (864)269-5073
