Jesus Ruben Hernandez

Jesus Ruben Hernandez, 33, of Greenville, SC passed away Monday, March 22nd, 2021. He was born Tuesday, January 26th, 1988 in Denver, Colorado.
Ruben will be sadly missed by his son, Joseph Jesus Hernandez; his mother, Hilda Arambula; his step-father, Javier Vasquez; his brothers, Adrian Hernandez and Daniel Vasquez; his grandparents, Herminia and Ruben Arambula, and Alicia Silva; and many more family members and friends. Ruben was predeceased by his father, Jesus Hernandez
Ruben graduated from J.L. Mann Highschool in 2006, he then enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. Specialist Hernandez was deployed to Afghanistan where he served his country with pride, honor and love. He loved being with his family and friends. An avid dog lover and sports fan. His manner always “lit up the room,” his humor and laughter kept everyone in great spirits when he was around. Always joking and keeping everyone upbeat. He Loved and was Loved! As a son, a grandson:“Grandma’s First Little Love,” and brother he had no comparison. His faith made him a brave, courageous and caring Human Being. His memory will live on with all who knew and loved him.
The family invites all who knew him to come, share a memory of Ruben and join them for his Visitation and Viewing followed by a “Celebration of Life” Officiated by his uncle, Pastor Ruben Arambula. Starting at 12pm with the service to follow at 1pm. At Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, in Simpsonville, SC. Military Honors will be rendered at the cemetery: Graceland East Memorial Park following the service.
