Jessie Edward Fowler

December 23, 1960 — December 24, 2021

Jessie Edward Fowler passed away on December 24 in Travelers Rest, SC. Born on December 23, 1960, in Greer, SC, he was the son of the late James and Patricia Fowler, of Greer SC.

Jessie was predeceased by his sister, Julie (Susie) Millwood, and survived by his wife Tracie Fowler; his three children Jamie Brooks (wife Tiffinea) of Pickens, Mandy Ashley (husband Charlie) of Inman, and Joshua Fowler (wife Kayla) of Taylors; five grandchildren Kaitlyn, Harmony, Noah, CJ, and Maddie; and sister Patsy Fowler, of Easley.

Jessie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman, a skilled hunter and fisherman, and loved every moment he spent in nature. He was also known to pick up a guitar and treat anyone who would listen to his version of his favorite tune, Rocky Top.

He was a carpenter by trade, and he could fix or build nearly anything he put his mind to.

His quiet and pleasant demeanor put others at ease – he was a grounding presence amongst all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and he will be greatly missed.
