Jerry L. Shelor

Seneca – Jerry L. Shelor, 82, husband of the late Carrie McCall Shelor, of 412 Rockingham Road, Seneca, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020, at his home.
Born in Oconee County, he was the son of TB Shelor and Olive Hunt Shelor of Walhalla. He was a 1956 graduate of Walhalla High School and attended Clemson University, was a member of the Army ROTC, and retired from Phillips Fibers Corporation.
Surviving is his daughter, Lee(James) Boling of Greenville; son, Allen Shelor of Walhalla, Step-son Grady(Jed) Morton of Georgia, Step-daughter Libby(Randy) Gortman of Georgia; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his two brothers; Balus Shelor, Joe Shelor; two sisters, Oliver Strider and Jane Graham, and a niece Mary Elizabeth Graham.
