Jerry William Byrnside

Mr. Jerry William Byrnside, 69, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital after a long illness. A native of El Dorado, Arkansas and son of the late James W. Byrnside and Aretta Millwood Marvin. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Melissa Byrnside. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mrs. Lorie Green Byrnside; his sons, Jerry Byrnside, Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of Gaffney, South Carolina and Stoney Byrnside and wife, Sandie of Spartanburg, South Carolina; his brother, Paul Byrnside of Spartanburg, South Carolina; his sister, Betty Powell of Key West, Florida; two special nieces, Charlene Griffin and Wendy Mergenthaler; a special great niece, Zana Burnett; his special nephews, Junior Mergenthaler, Mark Byrnside, Etahn Byrnside, William Byrnside and Mike Griffin; his great nephews, Malachi MIze, MItch Mize, Hunter Mergenthaler and Justin Sprouse; his special sister in law, Joyce Mergenthaler and numerous extended family in Arkansas.

A memorial service for Jerry will be announced at a later date.
