Jerry Myre Barnett

Jerry Myre Barnett, 78 of Simpsonville passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. Jerry was the son of the late Pickney Gossett Barnett and Rosa Ann Roberts Barnett Foxx. Jerry left behind 4 children. Jerry “Mike” Barnett (Vicki), Donald Ray Barnett, Patricia Ann Piver (Daniel) and Sandee Parnell (Dwayne). Jerry had 13 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by a Son, Jeffery Dale Barnett and Granddaughter, Catherine Ann (Cati Boyter) Blauvelt. Jerry served in the US Navy for 11 years. After the Navy, Jerry spent most of his career working on typewriters. Jerry was a Shriner and Mason. Jerry enjoyed flying planes and ultralights.
