Jeffrey Lynn Sanders, son of the late Richard and Beverly Sanders, moved on from his earthly existence on June 14, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. His suffering has ended and he is now with God. Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Wendy Kirby (Steve); sister, Lisa Schell (Chris); grandchildren, Christian and Patience; nieces, Amber and Autumn; great-nephew, Ethan; great-niece, Na’liyah; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Jeffrey was a gentle and kind man under his tough exterior persona. He was a cowboy at heart, and could always be found wearing his signature cowboy boots, Levi jeans, and black leather jacket. From a young age, Jeffrey had the will and desire to help others. At 18, he followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, from which he was honorably discharged after a brief enrollment. Although he left the marines, he continued serving and protecting others as a security guard. Jeffrey loved his job, and was proud and honored to help others. His favorite pastime was building replica models, particularly planes, tanks, and military vehicles.
Jeffrey will be remembered for his kindness, and his willingness to help others under any circumstance. He will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
